Invisible 'New Topic' button, any ideas?

I noticed when I logged on yesterday that the colors looked different; I had not changed my color preferences, and nobody else uses my system. Today I noticed that the 'New Topic' item on the bar at the top is invisible -- if I run the mouse pointer over it, I can click on it, but I just can't see anything there. Same thing for the 'Customize' button when I'm viewing a thread. Any ideas?

I have already posted this in forum issues, but I figured I would increase my chances of a resolution by posting here as well.

had same problems. reinstalled new browser and works great now.

Hit Control-F5 to force a full refresh. Forums sometimes act funny on me too.

Never mind, I took a hint from Russ in this thread and tried deleting my temp internet files, it worked great, the forums are back to looking like themselves.
