Invisible lock computer

Is it possible? Is there such a program?

My desktop looks nice, and I want to show it off, and I hardly use it anyways, so I might as well show it off while my computer is locked.

(I sound like a kid 😱)

Assuming you use Windows, use the slideshow screensaver, and make your desktop's image the only one in the folder. If you actually want it showing icons and everything, you'd have to make a screenshot of it. As far as I know there's no way to lock the machine and still show the desktop (unplug the keyboard and mouse would work 🙂).

Of course you ought to be letting the monitor go to sleep anyway.

Do a complete screen capture - then a life size print out on good paper, frame it and hang it by your machine - everyone can see it without wasting energy. 🙂

Well, seems like a nice idea, but I want to show of the widgets.

And, yea, I'm running Windows, XP to be more specific.

Anyways, about the widgets. There's two dynamic widgets on there that are, well, dynamic. One is the clock widget, and the other one is the picture frame widget. But I like the way you're thinking.

Unfortunately, I can't unplug the mouse and the keyboard, since it's a laptop, which is the other reason why it's not going to sleep 😉

Well, in that case, while we're on the topic of my sig, does anyone know how to figure out spacing for my ASCII art?

Well, it's not completely fixed, but it's comprehensible 😉. Thanks to someone in this thread 😀

But get back to the topic at hand, please.
