Lots of stress, long hours, and being expendable is not a fun position to be in. (a third of my former classmates are ibankers now).

Become a lawyer. Friend in Stanford Grad makes 12k a month during summer at a Los Angeles firm. Boring work though. Oh, but they throw great parties.

i know about the long hours and stuff, but i would have done it. 25k means i can pay an entire year of tuition, which means that 25k that my parents can put toward buying a house. man oh man. i guess i will end up in banking eventually

If you really care about your parents putting $25k towards their house you can always own up to your education and take out a student loan...

i just never thought of it. i have always thought of it as paying my parents back after i graduate and start working
