Also SPY. If your are feeling adventurous you can try UPRO (3x leveraged S&P). Not sure if it works long term though.

If you have a long time horizon and can weather the swings, I remain a big fan of VO and VBK. VO is Vanguard's Mid-Cap ETF and VBK is their Small Cap Growth. You'll have bigger swings in value, but for buy and hold investing they've done very well by me.
