Its many features include compartments for emergency morphine and salt, a knife and emergency light. Built into the forearms are a small recording device, a pepper-spray gun and a detachable transponder that can be swallowed in case of trouble.

In the helmet, there's a solar-powered fresh-air system and a drinking tube attached to a canteen in the small of the back. A laser pointer mounted in the middle of the forehead is ready to point to snipers, while LED lights frame the face.

Looks pretty badass.

The man on the inside is even more badass, once you condiser that he is willing to run in front of machine gun fire in order to prove that the suit worthy of protecting a human life.

That is badass, I hope his suit works and he makes at least his money back.

He has yet to have made any money off his bear-proof suit. But I do hope that it works and we get this suit to the battlefields sometime real soon, our fighting men need it.

Mr. Grizzly suit has done it again. His demostrations of Firepaste and 1313 paste on television were awesome.😎

man at first i thought it was a gimmick but it sounds damn cool, and legit

of course "claims" are different than actual verifiable proof

I think he could do better. No joint or finger protection. Sure you'll survive rapid fire or a rocket blast, but you're not going to feel very good after it...

Anyone else notice he's Canadian?

The most awesome thing is that I saw this link and a link to Jet-Man in the same day.

(the video is imbedded into the site, and makes most people just have a major grin on their face after watching it)

If these two guys hooked up and did a project together, about 50 million people would have their dreams accomplished all at once.

I'm assuming you're not a military person from this post, so I'll give the summarized military opinion: This suit is amazing. Considering what we have now, this suit covers roughly 4x the body area we currently are able to protect. Including face protection (all we use now is a glorified bicycle helmet). There are a few areas that are not protected, but that is a trade off that is made to enable mobility and usability. Those areas are actually covered a decent amount by other areas, like the upper body sides being protected by the arms. Fingertips don't mean s#@t in a combat situation when the bet being made is your life.

At 18 kg's, if the suit is the same one he wore in the video (and not just a set of BMX armor with some glued on extras so he could sell the idea) then it is an extremely major improvement in our current body armor market.

Plus it has a crotch clock. A CROTCH CLOCK
