Invasion, Conviction and Surface all CANCELLED

I just got done watching a few downloaded episodes of Conviction and it was alright. I couldn't help but feel it was missing *something* that other Dick Wolf shows had however, people over 30.

I heard a disturbing rumor the other day (that I'm pretty sure is true).

Deadwood on HBO is done after this season. HBO is pulling the plug on their second highest rated drama.

I read that over on the SA Forums - as soon as they're back up I'll post the link here.

Yeah!!! More new Cheaply made Reality shows to replace shows with actual depth storylines!!
dont forget the always profitiable "show some down on their luck family and give them to chance to win $1 million" and have it hosted by somebody that hasn't had a starring role in years 😉

What do you expect when people watch crappy shows like the O.C.? :|
Man, I don't watch enough TV. That crap fest is still on the air?

To get back to the topic at hand. I never heard of any of the shows mentioned. From the responses on here, I feel like that is a good thing.

Conviction was kind of meh. I saw the first episode (off of iTunes) and thought it was so-so. NBC has enough Law & Order clones. Surface was OK (caught an ep on SciFi once), but I never really got into it. Can't comment on Invasion as I never watched it. But since Surface and Invasion are both sci-fi genre shows, there's always hope that they'll air reruns (at least) on SciFi channel!

The thing about Conviction is that it wasn't anything like Law & Order. I'd rather see Criminal Intent go.

Like all long running television series, they just simply resort to lesbianism.

Just as long as Entourage is left alone!

Any news on "HOw and i Met your mother"? THat show rocks
CBS will announce their fall lineup sometime this week, either tomorrow or Wednesday. How I Met Your Mother got a full season I think, so that bodes well for a possible next season. It's a great show and I think a lot of people have no idea its on. CBS is not a network you normally associate with good comedies that younger people like.

FINALLY

Invasion was lame, taking an entire season to f***ing invade is ridiculous, and boring, and then I?m not even sure if anything is invading, it?s so lame.
