Invalid Partition Table error

I have a Dell E6440, and sometimes when I press the power button to wake it from sleep or to boot it up after shutting it down, it doesn't boot into Windows and says "Invalid Partition Table" instead. Hitting the power button to shut it off and then again to turn it back on will usually result in successfully booting into Windows (even with all my browser windows and such open if it had been in sleep mode prior to the error).

It gets past the BIOS screen where it says something about storage and lists the SSD and the hard drive I have in an adapter that replaces the DVD drive. There have been two occasions where it would not boot back into Windows at all after many attempts, one where I ended up reinstalling Windows 7 from the included recovery DVD from when I got the machine, and another where I reinstalled using the Windows 10 USB recovery drive I created after the first reinstall.

I'm hoping I can figure out exactly what is causing this error and fix it.
