invalid boot.ini

Well i came home plastered last nite and started deleting stuff and some how i snagged my boot.ini. How do i replace it =). windows boots uber slow now because i used bootvis to make my boot time alot faster

before i had a special book screen and i also had tuned my booting using bootvis thne i deleted a file and now it boots uber slow and no boot screen

Probably some driver or OS file got deleted and it is searching for it during the long boot time you are experiencing.

Why the obsession over boot times? Wouldn't hibernation or sleeping be the fastest option(s)?

I have a pc that does the same thing. Takes a extra 30 sec!

Any way to fix this in windows, that pc does not have a cdrom drive!

If your windows boots even if slowly the boot.ini file is Ok. But, if this is not the case then you can use
the Recovery Console to repair the boot.ini file. You can use the Bootcfg command. For further info take
