I think it would be cool if everyone, even those of us who have been around forever, would officially introduce themselves. That means you guys.
Just write a little bit about yourself. It can be whatever you want, whatever you think it is that makes you who you are, be that your job, how you look, your sense of humor, where you live...whatever.

My name is Jay, Sir Fredrick was the name of my fake pet stress lizard (the kind that you can stretch and beat up) before he died from neglect.
I'm a comp sci major at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, but I'm taking a year off to get some real world experience. I moved here to Lansing to be with the girl I was dating at the time (we had been together for 2 years), but after a few months I started to realize that it just wasn't going to work out with us. Anyway, I'm working at a small software company, I have written a program that can read lips. We are currently working on finding a way to detect the lips when they are not painted with lipstick.
I'm a big computer geek and I love messing around with computers. I think that I'd ultimately like to get into networking, but unfortunately I never have time to take any classes on it, and I don't have any job experience with it.

The weather here in Lansing is finally starting to get nicer, but I still miss Florida.
