If we are comparing say a 2500+ to a 2.4GHZ pentium Cpu with HT enabled, and the HT tips the scales in a big way to the 2.4, should we instead be comparing a Dual 2500+MP to a 2.4GHZ as that is how the processors are going to be working? (the computer Reads and uses the 2.4 as dual 2.4). Maybe that way we can tip the scales in amd's favor :D

Wouldn't we have to get AMD to sell two chips for the price of one P4 to be competitive. Also less the cost difference of a dual CPU board?

Really? What is a "computer"? Multitasking, multiprocessing, multithreading all have something in common but they are not the same thing.
