I have read other posts talking about stutter but they dont sound like mine. First of all, I just put this computer together and it has XP pro with all the updates. I have the latest nvidia graphics and MB drivers. I have f3 bios on my motherboard.
I first noticed the problem when I loaded doom 3. It constantly stutters on about 1 second intervals. The video will pause momentarily and the audio will sound like a broken record and keep repeating a fragment then going to a new fragment. I have done all the doom 3 tweaks in the config and they have not helped. I then noticed that it does the same thing in Team Frotress Classic as well as just watching that animation in Media player while playing music.
The memory I have is the corsair that has the activity LEDs on them. They normally show just a few green LEDs at the bottom but whenever I am doing something video intensive they instantly start and constanly flicker in time with the stutter.
Anyone have any thoughts as to what I could try?
