I interviewed today for 2 hours for a position at a very reputable school of medicine. I would be an industry relations officer and would help develop contracts to protect the hospitals interest in clinical trials, tests, etc. The position has excellent benefits, good pay, and would allow my son to go to the private school for 6% of the regular tuition cost. As most of you know that is a tremendous benefit.

The extra income (increase in salary) would allow us to pay off debt and pay off our home in less than 10 years. I really hope I get it.

I should find out in a week. I really hope I get it.

Pray for me!

I interviewed with five different people. I think it went really well. I normally wouldn't have a doubt about being offered the job EXCEPT that I am four months pregnant. Thats the only thing that I see would hold me back from getting it. I informed them that I could work from home and that I hoped to be back at work (in the office) in two weeks. I could do that because they have an onsite daycare facility for their employees.

are you showing? did you tell them? did the ask? i dont think its legal for them to ask about it or not hire you because of it.

Some, but no one can really tell. I told them because I don't want to deceive them and have them hire me under false pretenses. They didn't ask me.

I'll pray for you if you pray for me :) I had an interview last friday and should know in a few days... really crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

I had an interview last week and it was down to me and one other person...the other guy got it :disgust:

Actually going to interview for a car salesman position tomorrow...just may give the IT industry the bird! :D
