Interview advice needed

I am currently an intern with the company I will be interviewing with tomorrow. Graduation is nearing, and I am basically interviewing for a job to keep doing what I am doing, but for more money and full time. I would like very much to get this job.

I know the people that I will be interviewing with, and I believe my boss is happy with my performance.

Should I wear a suit to work tomorrow (my interview is during my work day). Or my normal dress shirt with no suit or tie? I have never worn a suit to work before, and no one else in the office does either.

Should I expect to go through all the normal steps involved in a normal interview, or do you think they will cut a lot out due to the fact that they already know me.

Also, should I be prepared to discuss and negotiate salary and the like on the first interview?

Any other advice?

They will probably cut stuff out, but i would say dress to impress. Better to be overprepared than underprepared...

Wear a suit. It shows you're taking it seriously. Truthfully it probably won't matter either way, but you have nothing to lose and a job to gain.

If it's an interview don't expect to discuss salary. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared for any question, including salary though.

If during the interview you find that you have the need to remove your pants, make sure you ask their permission first.

Seriously, even though you already know the interviewers, do everything possible to impress them, including wearing a suit.

I'd say don't wear a suit but I am relatively inexperienced with these things. My logic for that is you would feel more comfortable wearing what everyone else is, and what you normally do, to work. Your level of comfort during the interview is more important than a suit.

I mean if nobody in the office ever wears a suit, then it is not really fitting in with the office. Don't you want to look like you'd be a good fit during the interview? Why make yourself look so different? It'll only serve to seperate you from them and make yourself more uncomfortable.

Suit. It is an interview, they are taking the time to take to you in a serious and professional matter, extend the same.

Just cause it's the 'job you have' doesn't mean it will be the 'job you will have in the future after the interview'. Do your homework, dress to impress, shmooz, etc. Ask the questions you believe you need to know, you probably won't negotiate salary, but be prepared to just in case. Be prepared most of all to win the job.

Most definately wear a suit. Wouldn't hurt to get a haircut either. Trim your nails and groom your best (facial/neck/nose hair, etc)

As far as salary, avoid that topic until you get an offer. Then you can negotiate. NEVER give a number first. Look around at salary.com to find what your job is worth.
