Interrupts: Shared vs Used

In my motherboard manual it lists the interrupts used by the various PCI slots. For slot 4 it says that the interrupt is "used." Can any one tell me what is meant by the term "used?"

Used by only one driver instance, I guess. Don't get a headache over these things, sharing IRQs is perfectly fine as long as all driver writers followed the 13-year-old PCI specification ...
