I have a Sager notebook with an i7 9750k, 16gb RAM and an RTX 2060 GPU I purchased in October. I basically only play Modern Warfare/Warzone but even running benchmarks I've noticed some unusual drops in FPS recently and I think I am closer to figuring out the problem. Specifically when I say FPS drops I usually see 70-90fps, but then i'll go through periods of 55-75, which if you ask me can be significant.
When I finally figured out how helpful Afterburner could be, I now have a good idea in the attachment I have. You will see 3 gaming sessions (and one outlier in the middle where I wasn't actually playing). Each session are equal thirds you will see. The 1st I am getting about 60-75fps but constantly hitting the GPU voltage limit. The 2nd I never hit the voltage limit and am seeing 80-95fps. And finally the third is like the 1st.
Now, I will admit that when I first got Afterburner I thought to try an OC and used their OC Scanner tool so you are seeing a 225/500 OC; that being said this issue had been going on for weeks at stock speeds. I literally only downloaded Afterburner because of the log functions. ALSO let it be said that my card never goes over 72c in games and heat is never a problem. I've used DDU and reinstalled drivers so many times now that I know that is not it. I can take more screenshots too if you'd like to see my CPU usage during games, but I can assure that is not throttling, either.
Please let me know your thoughts, what might be causing this and how to fix it, thank you guys!
Edit: also I wanted to say Afterburner OC Scanner current settings have my GPU voltage set at 0. Not sure if that helps.
