I enjoy comments like this. You are so devoid of independent thought and creativity, that you have to copy my words in some pathetic attempt to insult me. I would tell you to continue, but I don't want to be bored by your meaningless parroting of my writings. Why don't you go outside and find something inspiring to write about, like the feeling of falling off a cliff.

I didn't want to spend anything of myself to create the post so I pirated your words. It's 4AM and I need sleep. I'll contemplate the cliff thing in the morning.

Red Text/Pink Background and other eyestraining colour combos that Free Webpage Noobs thought were Cool. Probably not "Obsolete", but dramatically reduced due to the end of Free Webpage providers(ya, I know some still exist, but not anywhere near the amount that used to).

Hey buddy, could you please give me that YOU ARE ELL? The dumb bastard didn't even know what URL meant. He could have just asked for the web address, but then again the idiot would have wanted the HTTP://WWW part too.

And who was that husband and wife team that drank coke and sat in the cellar playing Doom, while thinking they were the l33tz of the intarwebs?

Dongles?

Buying 4mb simms online.

Hard Drives of 756mb and charging your CC $998 + shipping.

Photon motherboards

Tom Pabst...oh, wait, he's not gone yet...not quite.

Free webpages are bigger than ever... they're just streamlined into serving what the users wanted to do more easily (now that the "blog" concept has fully materialized). MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, etc. Take a look a MySpace and you'll see that things are as loud, dumb, animated, and poorly-formatted as ever.

Back in the college dorm days, I ran an FTP Pr0n server and get uploaded a ridiculous amount of porn. This was back in the days before redtube and it's ilk, so It was a valuable commodity. I used to trade three or four CDs worth for free pizza from a guy who I knew who worked at Dominos. ;)

no warez though, that was just mean. ;)

I hope facebook, myspace, twitter will end soon

please make them stop.

The only reason they would end is if something even more annoying and obnoxious gains popularity. Therefore, you should wish for the survival of the above.

Real Player was obsolete the day it came out.
The fact that its still around today leads me to believe too many people are secretly masochists. They should visit an S&M club and get it out of their systems.
Then they should download VLC.

it seems they've gotten their act together. real media files are actually quite watchable now and sometimes even good quality.

Back when I had learned the basics of HTML and was trying to make some a serious website with as much style as I could muster (I think it was going to be a video game site ) between photoshop and dreamweaver, and my html knowledge... I quickly discovered how horribly frames within frames within frames within frames actually render on browsers, and getting anything to function inside of them was hell.

I gave up the goal, because after taking a look at languages like CSS, I said screw this and aborted my dream of web design. I just didn't feel like learning a web language just to do some personal websites that still had the likely chance of being worthless. :)
