LOL, I was thinking the irony of the OP posting such a subject :D

In any case, anyone still upset over something that happened on the internet ~6 years ago really needs to get over it.

With the OP or with me? (what did I do in 2001?....Uh...join AT? )

When someone (like the OP) gains worldwide notoriety for something they may have done or not done or maybe just made it up or maybe acted like they made it up to cover up the fact they may or may not have really done it....they shouldn't draw attention to it.

Get my point?

Meh. Some folks will never get over it apparantly.

I doubt you apologizing more will change anything

How's he drawing attention to himself? The two stories are very different.

Possibly, you joined AT too late to to appreciate the ruckus that the OP caused. Not to me...I'm just a nobody...but to himself and here at AT.

He wasn't drawning attention to himself. He was linking a news coverage about something completely unrelated. Sure, it was about deaths, but geared towards suicides, not a "fake" internet murder.

And the 2001 thing I'm referring to is the scandal or whatever he pulled off.

You sound like you're feeling sorry for yourself. That's pretty pathetic.

For Goodness sakes, those who pour emotional energy in these forums take this place waaay too damn seriously.

I'm pretty sure this story would have been posted by someone else anyway and the link to what I did rehashed also. Part of moving on means trying not to be afraid of the past but learning from it to avoid repeating the same mistakes.

WTF? Uh, no. How do you figure that I'm feeling sorry for myself?

The OP started a thread which is controversial b/c HE/SHE/IT started a thread w/this particular topic.

It would be like Michael Jackson (who has been legally cleared of any child molestation charges) starting a thread about little boys and their little school uniforms.
