Internet splitting question.

I have an ethernet cable coming into a room and need to split it into two devices. What type of splitter do you recommend as being the best?

That switch is only 10/100, so if you have a gigabit lan I don't think you will get full speed. I got this one a couple weeks ago when it was only $25 listed in Hot Deals. Works great.

For multiple devices sharing the INTERNET as stated in the title, you're likely to need a router instead of a switch/hub.

I have a router. It feeds all the rooms I use and I only had on connection left and needed more than that in this room. I should have been more clear.

Then get a switch and plug into the that wall jack and then plug in your devices to the switch.

That is exactly what I am going to do. I knew a switch would work but wasn't sure if that was the best method. According to everybody that is the best way to go. Thanks.
