internet slow on client pcs

I use Sygate to share the internet between 3 PCs. I have a cable modem that is connected to a hub (through uplink) and the Host PC gets download speeds around 200kbs compared to the client PCs that get a max around 25kbs for the same file. any ideas? I changed the MTU settings so many times and no difference. I'm running the host off a pentium II 400 192MB ram that is running windows xp.

The best solution probably will come with the purchasing of Cable/DSL Router.

However!

First step, connect each one of the computers by it self through the Hub, No Sygate, and see what you get.

What I suggested is to connect ONE Computer, NO Sygate, optimized, and see what do you get.

Then disconnect the ONE computer, connect the SECOND computer, and do the same.

Then disconnect the second, put the THIRD, and repeat.

Doing so you will give you an answer whether it is an individual computers, or Sygate, or something else, that causing the slow down.

When each individual computer works well on his own, then try to share.
