Hi all, new to this forum and hoping someone can shed some light.
At home I have two comps, both with Win XP, networked toegether without a router (direct connection with crossover cable). Up until now, they have been networking fine, and with the slave computer able to access the shared internet through my computer. I have just installed PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005 on the main system and the Firewall in the program is blocking the slave computer from getting on the internet.
My question is, how do I edit the firewall and create an exception to allow the other computer to access the internet? Strangely the slave computer WILL connect to a chat program, but no go on the browser. I know the problem is the firewall with the new PC-Cillin because when I disable it, the slave computer gets online right away.
Thanks in advance for you help.
