Wish we have the same here in the U.S. only we used to have free Internet through 56k connections which is stil faster than 40k! What's the use of satellite anyway, no more phonelines? Starband is one of two satellite ISP's here ( along with DirectPC) and is a send/receive system. DirectPC, I think will roll out a similar send/receive system soon for public consumption (or maybe they're already available?!)Tests by PC world magazine said that Starband is the much faster of the two. Starband's satellite system is actually owned by Gilat, an Israeli company so it should be nearer to your area.
