Internet Sales Tax

I heard on the radio this morning that a bill was passed (I think) so that all purchases made on the internet for Michigan will have a sales tax.

That's friggin stupid! The economy is doing bad and moreso are the internet companies yet they put a sales tax? I like internet purchases because you can avoid the sales tax and although the shipping is usually more, if you considered the shipping - sales tax then it's not much money left. Damn!

If I were them, I'd have a friend buy it from another state, then drop ship it to you as a "gift", after repaying him the price of it that you owed him from a bet long ago. See what I mean?
