Internet randomly cutting out

Starting a day or so ago my internet randomly cuts out for anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes. There are two computers hooked up to our cisco 675 modem via a linksys switch. My computer is the only one that loses connection. I have no idea why its doing this any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

first.. change the port on the switch you are connected to.

if it keeps dying, you may have a bad cable, or a bad NIC/drivers.

open a cmd windows, ping your default gateway with the -t flag and see if the pings stop when your internet cuts out. If not, try pinging google with the -t for the same thing. When you say it "cuts out" what do you mean? IM logs out, web pages are slow?
