internet protocals

i got dsl in my dorm room, and i realized i have so many protocals in my connection thingy. i have
client for microsoft networks
file and printer sharing for microsoft networks
QoS packet scheduler
nwlink netbios
nwlink ipx/spx/netbios compatible transport protocal
internet protocal (tcp/ip)
is this normal to have all these. i've seen the first two often and the last one, but not the other ones...

if you are only connecting to the internet, you can remove
nwlink and ipx/spx

if you connect to resources at your school , leave them, the resources could be on novell servers

they don't really affect performance much, if it isn't broken, don't fix it, that would be safest
