Internet problems.

I have a Dell vostro 1500, and I have a wireless internet connection. When I try to surf the web, I can go to most sites, (like gfaqs), but I can't get on to some sites. bankofamerica.com for instance. I use firefox, but it doesn't work in IE either. I ran the diagnostic tool, but it wasn't very useful. The page just says cannot connect to server. Can anyone help me with this? I put this in GT, mainly because its fast, but also because I'm worried that theres a tech problem with my wireless card.
 
I have vista. And I don't think it is the connection, because I have another computer also on the same network, and that computer doesn't have any internet problems. Is the vista host file thing the same.
