internet port on wireless router died, possible to remap to another port?

have an older Belkin 54G router that i want to keep until Gigabit routers with 11N comes out... some reason the internet jack doesnt get a connection anymore, but i still see the network wired and wirelessly. connecting directly to the cable modem is also fine.

is there an easy way to have one of the other 4 ports accept an internet connection?

read somewhere about VLAN or remapping on the linksys, but nothing generic.

Buy a cheap ($10-$20) wired router and use that to connect to the Internet. If you need the Belkin WiFi section, connect one of its LAN ports to one of the new router's LAN ports and turn off the DHCP Server on the Belkin. This will turn the Belkin into an "Access Point".

No, the wan port on that type of unit really is wired differently (different chip) than the lan ports.
