Internet Monitoring / Spying Software?

My cousin is looking for Internet Monitoring software that would allow you to remotely view another desktop (at his business) without the person on the system knowing that it's being viewed.

I've seen tons of these softwares by searching Google. But most seem unknown, un-reputable, or just plain spyware.

Any suggestions for something good taht works? Preferably freeware / open source. Or something good for a reasonable fee.
 
For what purpose? It's far easier to set up a proxy/firewall that logs internet usage than to remotely view a desktop.
