Okay.. I have 56K yes I know but I have a reliable service that has never given me ANY problems.. Well I play Diablo II and that's the only game I play with 56K... It use to run fine all the time. But now It's like every 5-20 Secounds it sends a lag spike that jumps from 150-200 Ping to 400-5000 Ping.. And It affects everyone in the game not just me, Thats how I know it's not just Battle.net that's lagging. So are there any waysI can speed up my connection or any decent Dial Up services in Maine that I could use? I would like to keep using pivot.net but if that's an issue I will gladly switch. Internet searching Etc. seems to work fine, I have no firewall/Downloads/Spyware/adware/Auto-uploaders (Windows Updates Etc.) It's just like this, I also tried switching Modems, No luck. I also have only a 5 Ft cord so it's not that.
 
Fast 56K is like saying you saw bigfoot......you hear rumors about it, but it just doesn't exist.
 
IF you find a virus, do a search for the thing in google. usually something will come up that tells you how to remedy it w/o having to reformat.
