I heard about this new filter. It is called a "power" button. Press it and all the pr0n goes away.

Try we-blocker, it is free or it was when I downloaded and I use it on the computers in my library, works very well.

Call me an idiot, but the most effective filter is the parent supervising the child. Children should not be allowed to roam the internet unsupervised.

For many working parents this cannot be a reality. It's bound to happen, you'll be at work, your child is bored, and voila he is on the internet getting his jollies.

you are right but he didnt ask for a parent, he asked for an internet filter. You do not know why he is asking for it and a parent cannot be around 24/7. If riporin is asking to block his kids from getting on to sites they shouldnt then I bet he is well aware there is nothing better than a parent to watch.
