i was trying to troubleshoot some problem and had to go through the standard "delete temporary files" BS that support usually tells you to do before figuring out the actual problem, and while almost every site i've been to displays fine, IGN looks all screwy as if the browser is ignoring the stylesheets or scripts that control the fonts, colors, and layout of the page. i was wondering if you know of any settings i need to fix to get them to read that particular site and any other ones the right way. i had IE6 during this, and upgraded to 7 yesterday, hoping it would solve the problem but it hasn't. i've also chosen to reset Security settings.

Umm... I could say "why aren't you using Firefox?!?!" but instead I'll say: "have you tried to view the page in firefox?"

btw... ign renders fine for me, but then again I am using Firefox...

works fine in Firefox but that's not my point, is it? i want to fix whatever happened to IE. before deleting the files everything was fine.

i used the IE internet options to delete files.

the complete reset did the trick. thank you! i didn't notice this feature in the new IE
