Internet Explorer takes forever to load

Hi, lately my Internet Explorer has been taking forever to load up. Once it loads though I have no problem using it. But if I want to open up a second window, it takes just as long for that to load. I searched around for help before posting this and one forum said that this is because my windows messenger service is disabled.

Well, I went on microsoft's site to figure out how to start that up and I followed these steps:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Administration Tools.
3. Double-click Services.
4. Double-click Messenger.
5. In the Startup type list, click Automatic (Already Selected).
*The service status was on "stopped"
6. Click Start, and then click OK.

I clicked start but I got an error window that read like this:
"Windows could not start the messenger on local computer. For more information review the system event log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 2119."

Please help me figure this out.
Here's my hijack log:

I've already tried to reinstall the browser but no change.
Please Help!

-Thanks

I have had Windows messanger disabled from day1 on 3 xp installs at home. The few times I've used IE, I've had no problems with it. I think you got some bum advice. Try Firebird.

Im using firefox right now, but I still want my IE to work right because I use it for windows update. Either way, I want to resolve this issue. Any tips???? 🙁

download and reinstall, update to SP2,use spybot search and destroy, use and update virus software and scan for any virus, goto services and disable messenger.

I've always had my avg antivirus to update and scan automatically daily but I just did the spybot s&d scan and cleared up the problems. I started IE to go to windowsupdate to reinstall SP2 and it loaded right away. 🙂

Thanks Blazer i guess i overlooked the obvious.
