Internet Explorer problem

The title says it all. All of a sudden I don't have the option to open a file, instead of saving it disk and then opening it.....I don't know what changed. I tried resetting my IE options, but that didn't seem to help.
Please don't fill this thread with comments about why I should be using Firefox...I've heard it all and choose to use IE most of the time.

thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick replies!

Unfortunately, I would like to be able to do this for all file types....and doing that would take forever! There must be some setting that got screwed up, I just can't figure out which one....I've googled it, but can't seem to come up with the right search phrase, because the results I get are not what I want.

How many different file types do you actually download? At least test it out with one or two and see if the solution works for you.
