Internet Explorer....Need Help

I keep getting an error message when I try to open internet explorer. Is there anyway I can reinstall it off line? Thanks
 
Have you tried to repair it? To repair it(in 98), go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information. Select the tools menu and select IE repair tool and then select the repair option, then click OK, etc.

What is the exact error message? If its something quite generic, then you'll have to do the following:

Try to 'restore the previous windows configuration'; under add-remove programs, select Microsoft Internet explorer x.x and internet tools, it will give you options to repair, restore previous configuration, or add a component.

 
I tried to repair it and I tried to reinstall windows....no luck.....so I formatted it, works great now. Thanks
