Internet Explorer - Internet options help.

A friends PC doesn't have all the tabs in his Internet options in Internet Explorer 6.0 running Win98. He has a few tabs like Security, Content, Connections.. but he doesn't have the gernal tab or program tab. Anyone know how to get those back?

I have a feeling it was some spyware that installed it self and removed those. But I have no clue how to get them back.

Any ideas?

Thanks

try repairing IE.
go to control panel>add/remove programs>IE then uninstall.
a new dialogue box should appear giving you the option to repair IE.

If you're going to promote firebird, at least offer SOME partial help, or you come out sounding like an ass / zealot.

For example, you might say, "Have you tried making sure he has IE6 SP1 installed? The install might reset whatever is broken. Or, for a more permanent fix that doesn't suck, blocks popups, won't get you hacked, and is developed by people who care about quality, give Firebird a try" 😉
