I'm not sure what's going on. Every page I try to go to loads up almost instantly (T-1 line) but hangs for about 2 minutes with the black bar at the bottom of the screen full before it clears and I can click on something. All my software is up to date.
The only thing I've done to it recently is upgrade from DirectX 8.0 to 8.1. Using a 3rd party program, I removed 8.1 and went back to 8 but that didn't fix the problem. I also removed IE 6 and went back to 5 and that still didn't fix the problem.
Any ideas before I do a complete reformat and reinstall? BTW, this isn't the PC listed in my sig. This is my old PC which is still running Windows 98. Thanks,
