I'm sitting at my sister-in-law's XP box and her IE (version 6.0.28.... ) doesn't show an address bar where you can enter a URL!!! The View menu item/Toolbars shows that the Address Bar is checked. WTF?! Thanks for any help!

Try unlocking the toolbars, and drag it down a little bit, it may be minimized.

Yep! Thanks...

They were locked. I'd never heard of locking toolbars before. I hope she doesn't mind what I've done but I'll just leave the address bar and got rid of Norton AntiVirus toolbar (WTF?), and Links and Google toolbars. They seem sort of gratuitous.

You aren't kidding!! She's undoubtedly got spyware all over this thing. Viruses? Well, she's running NAV, so probably not at this point with her recent XP install. I see Gator looking at me from her tray, though. I am not going to try to talk her out of using Gator again, and I know if I ran spyware removal software (adaware 6) it would remove Gator. She's into her computer but I can't talk her into using the native res on her 19" LCD. Anyway, I've got an address bar now. Thanks!
