Found a site and DL'd the new version 6 of IE, it absolutely sucks, IMHO. The only difference is MS put these 4 links to their MSN $hit, etc on the left hand side and you cannot get rid of them. They suck!!

Yeah, I just tried the newest Opera (Even the 5.02 cracked with no Ads) and it is way slower than IE5. Takes forever to load a page. Your results may vary!! :Q

Was only a matter of time before MS tried to force their crap and portals etc on you as an IE user. No IE 6 for me, thank you :)

ugh.. there is NO way to get rid of the links? someone post a screenshot of IE 6, I want to see what this looks like.

surely someone will come up with a hack to get around that crap. if not, its IE 5.01 for me. whats new in IE 5.5? from what I understood, its just IE 5.01 w/ a print preview function, which I don't care about. I tried IE 5.5, and I hated it, it had this bug/feature thing that when you clicked a link, I didn't get any visual response that the browser was doing anything like you do in IE5 (the status bar text changes to "Web site found..." etc. In IE 5.5 it just kept saying "Done" for a good 5-6 seconds. :| drove me insane

wtf? that left bar takes a whole 1/3 of the screen and theres no way to get rid of it? what does that left-facing arrow button do on the top? what about View-Toolbars, and unselecting it? or right clicking on it? anything at all?

Oh, you can get rid of the left hand search bar, but not the links. That arrow shrinks it. I hate all the links these damn companies integrate into their browsers. They're for people who just like to point and click on the Internet!!

There's also some little features here and there...like if you hold your mouse over an image this little toolbar will pop up with four icons, save, print, email, send to clipboard. Stuff like that. No major changes and that toolbar takes up about 20 pixels...WhoTF cares? I find it useful.
