Internet Explorer 5 question

I am going to be updating a set of machines for a client to Internet Explorer 5 and want to know how to do it. They have a crappy internet connection, so downloading it is out of the question, how can I do this in a timely and effective manner?

Please Help as I am at my wits end trying to find Internet Explorer 5 by itself, so I can download it with my cable connection WITHOUT installing it on the machine I am downloading it to.

Thanks for any help!

so you can't find the link or what? Here it is ie 5.01 sp1

when it downloads it only downloads the setup program. Dowload and run it. It will download the rest of the files from within the setup program. TO only download and not install you have to do a custom install and choose only download and not install under advanced or something like that. hope that helps

I said that the clients internet connection sucks, so downloading it to the machines thru the internet was out of the question, i.e.(2 hour download per machine) I have the link, but it only downloads the setup program that prompts the machine to goto the internet and DOWNLOAD But I found a way, by using my Office 2000 disk with the IEAK5 on it.

You must download the setup program first, and then from within the setup program, you choose a Custom Install. Click on the Advanced button, then it gives you the option to download the files rather than install directly from the Internet. The downloaded files can then be burned to CDR.

Nice way to do it, but I found an easier one. I used my companies Office 2000 pro disk and took the IE5 directory and loaded it to a shared folder. Then downloaded the latest service pack to the shared folder from the servers internet connection, and had all the workstations look to that folder to download and install IE% with service packs.

Thanks to all for the help, I appreciate it.
