I didn't think I'd need to. I was doing the video chat for 4 hours or more with her. The photo's don't do her justice and she's horrible at accepting compliments. She's really engaging. At one point I had to minimize her video just to focus on the conversation. It was completely distracting to actually see her. I think I'm going to visit her.

Wow... A real date. Are you sure you're up to meeting someone without that protective layer of technology between you?

I've met only one other woman from the web. We agreed to meet at a coffee shop. She was pretty and entertaining but when she told me about her medical condition, I inadvertently laughed out loud. The date quickly worsened.

She's cute man.

I'm not trying to be rude here...you're a normal looking dude as well...but your hair-cut...what the hell is up with that? I'm assuming you may be in the military or something....if you want to wear your hair short, for the love of Christ...just shave it off....that flat-top has gots to go.

She's a cute girl and knows how to fish that is definitely cool

Is she flipping off the camera in the fish pic?

I dunno - I think it was just slippery and had leapt off her scale or something. The fish pic was an accident... honest.:D

The first person I met was actually a beautiful, successful and chatty woman. But she was so o talkative that I couldn't get a word in within 20 minutes of meeting her. I had quipped, "You're like a ferret on amphetamines!" She stopped smiling, paused and stated without expression or amusement, "I'm not on amphetamines."

5 minutes later she said she had ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder. I inadvertently laughed and that was the end of the date. :(

Lesson on dating #6:
  • Comparing your date to a drugged, hairy weasel-like mammal is never a good thing - especially when said comparison is made aloud to said date.

Don't screw your chances with this girl up with any animal comments. Don't tell her she smells like fish, even if she really does. Also, you should teach her how to use your recommended tackle. ;)

She did catch them for me. More than likely, just to teach me that they were there for even a geek to catch. She's actually a patient teacher.
