Microsoft released a tool that enable checking Internet connectivity behind a Cable/DSL Router.

Is this intended for home users or any users in general?

The tool provides some in depth information on your internet capability and all, and states at the end that the connection you're using will work in Vista just as it did in XP. I would hope that's to be expected anyways.

The first page on the download page says it is intended for home users. Users behind a corporate firewall may not get accurate results.
