Internet connection sharing

I've been having some problems with the ms internet connection sharing, I'm hoping one of you can help me out with it. What I've got is a small, 3 computer lan and a wireless usb connection to the internet. Two of the computers are running win2k and I'm putting linux on the third. I've got the wireless connection shared on the one computer, and from time to time I get the one of the other two computers to see this connection, but most of the time it doesn't, they look for it over the network, but don't seem to be able to get an ip address. The linux computer never has never been able to connect (I'm using dhcp on boot). Do any of you know some trick to getting the internet connection sharing to work consistenly?
