Internet Connection not working

I had firefox 3.0 installed and it had a problem like back button worked intermittently etc. So I uninstelled it and deleted registry entry for Mozilla and FireFox using regedit. Then I installed FireFox 2.0 and since than all problem started. Now, soon after logging into windows and starting the Firefox first time I get data from yahoo.com but it does not disply completely and if I hit reload, I get error message that site is not found and after that I can not go to any site. But, uTorrent just works fine downloading and uploading continues as usual.
What am I missing?

I don't understand your response. But anyway, thanks for the reply and yes I did use add/remove to uninstall.

I think I have found the solution. I down loaded the registry patch and it has fixed the problem.
