If someone calls or text msgs it messes up my connection. Anyway to fix this?

I have a Linksys WRT54G3G-AT. But my computer is not wireless. Im using a network cable.

Your using a 3g router so I am assuming your internet is going thru your phone. When a phone call or anything goes through the phone itself, it's programmed to interrupt the 3g data until the phone's data quits transmitting (phone calls, txt messages, etc). It does this by design. If it's too interrupting, then I suggest a more permanent internet solution (cable, dsl, etc)

sorry was looking at the wrong router its the WRT54GX w/ SRT.

Also i dont have a phone line going through the router. I do have cable. I dont even have a home phone. Its all cell phones. lol.
