I'm using a router netgear RP614, got it for like $30 canadian after rebates. anyway when i refresh counter strike servers, after it goes through about 500-1000 servers, i can't connect to anything. i can ping servers but nothing will connect for the next 2-5 minutes, browser, email, cs etc nothing connects. i dont have this problem if i remove the router.
i think the problem is it can't handle a lot of connections. this happened before when i was using emule which also makes a ton of connections. does this make any sense? if that is the problem, a hub wouldn't have this problem right? (my isp gives 2 ips)
