This is another "Pop Under" ad that really bothers netizens. I'll shut up and never question internet ads again if someone can possibly explain the point to the chick smiling on the left side of the ad.
 
Have you seen the X10 camera advertisement popups? They're everywhere... and they feature attractive women. I guess they imply that you can take pictures of them and have fun looking at the pictures later.

X10 bought so many pop-ups ads (that simply showed a new window with their URL) that they became like the 5th most trafficked site on the net, ahead of Excite and stuff. They said 95% was the ads, and that the reporting agencies (I think Jupiter made the mistake) are going to change their methods.
 
X10 ads suck.

Oh sure, they pop under, so they don't bother your browsing experience, but hey, they make you do extra clicking when your browsing experience is done.

I hate pop-ups if I ever meet the person that invented pop-ups I will punch him in the teeth, and then make him watch re-runs of The Golden Girls.
