Internationally Confirmed: NK Torpedo sank the SK Navy ship.

Does all this confirming make governments feel like they are doing something about what happened?

edit: nvm, this was the first official confirmation.

Well the Obama Administration is doing what it normally does. Talking about what must and will be done. By the international community no less. Because our track record of getting them onboard to do shit has been so good. Especially in that part of the world. Granted we also led their troops into Iraq (dumbfuck Bush), but at least this time we have solid scientific evidence.

We should nuke em. I mean why we build this stuff if we're not going to use it??? Science pork?

It's time to destroy North Korea. They really don't do anything but stir up trouble and piss off other, more powerful nations. The entire country is filled with brainwashed fools anyway, so it would make little sense to "liberate" them. It's better to just erase them all from existence, and let South Korea have the land. Everyone knows this.

Makes you wonder who to hedge your bets on in this contest. I don't think anything they do could provoke our leaders into a fight.

South K should invade. North K is hanging by a thread and begging for the bitch slap of death.

They still have a shitload of artillery within range of Seoul. The bitch slap of death would probably need to include tactical nukes along the DMZ at least.

I am just shocked that the International response is so weak or non-caring....A military ship was sunk and over 40 sailors were killed by the torpedoe of an enemy submarine.

How is that not an act of war??

Of course, if it was a US Navy ship that was hit, Obama would apologize to the other nation for allowing our ship to get in the way of their torpedo. Hell, he would probably reimburse them for the cost of the torpedo as a sign of good will...

I thought the same thing, how has the response been so muted? I realize there's probably some frustration because there's not really many options as long as China doesn't join, but still, how far do you let NK go? They sink warships. What if they fire just one little piece of artillery into the Seoul.. what then? What about 10 pieces? Etc etc.

At some point someone's gotta grow a pair and just tell NK (privately through diplomatic channels) that the next time they do anything they're going to get annihilated.... and then follow through on it.

Paging our resident NK apologist.
AzN got banned again, so this thread won't be as "exciting" as it would have been with him around...

That said, there won't be any effective response to NK beyond the strongly worded letters and evil looks during press conferences. This isn't the first time NK/SK have exchanged shots without resulting in NK War II, and it won't be the last.

Attack N Korea, South Korea gets blown to bits. Kim Jong certainly deserves death, but do Millions of South Koreans? Besides, ultimately this should be a decision for South Korea, given it was their loss and all.
