hrm whatever trailer I saw with 300 showed venom in it as well. not a lot though, just a little bit.

Yeah...already saw this on Comcast on Demand. Also watched a nifty feature on how the black suit came about in the comics.

Remembering back to my comic book days, I was assuming that from Spiderman 2, they were going to have MJ's former fiance be the catalyst (being that he traveled to the moon) for bringing the venom suit back to earth (It being an alien symbiote thingy, and it's essentially what happened in the comic books).

Funny, how the previews already show how Parker removes the creature from his body. (Ring-a-ding-ding....)

Only question I have with regards to the upcoming movie is when does Peter remove the symbiote (sp?) and who does it attach to to become Venom...I wonder if they will follow the comic or will Pete be 'black costume Spidey' the whole movie and the Venom is a set-up for Spider-Man 4...

I'm still not sure if Grace can pull off Venom.... Venom was always extremely muscular as opposed to Spiderman being skinny. Kinda like the T-1000 and the original Terminator.
