I need to send a money order to a guy in Canada.
I picked one up at my Credit Union....but I just noticed it is not an "International Money Order"
I got a MO from someone in the US that was from a bank or something, and my bank considered it like a check and the time for it to clear was 30 days...
It's really best to get them from the post office.
TD. They won't accept a MO unless it says International on it. Mostly because it says right on the MO "Only negotiable in the US" I think I can deposit a personal check from the US but it takes a dogs age to clear I think.
Last time I needed an international money order I went to a store (Bel Air iirc) and the reciever had no problems cashing it. And USPS MOs do say only negotiable in the US.
