yeah, it looks to me that it has the necessary mounting holes to place this in a 3.5" drive bay. the cable though is a standard USB cable, and not one of those 5 pin ones that plugs into a motherboard. i think that you just have to pass the cable through your case and out the back, perhaps through a vent, and then plug it into a rear USB port. kinda ghetto but for $11 who's complaining? also, sometimes motherboards don't have free USB headers on the motherboard so this works out even better.

just bought one for 16, too.

bl@rgh!

the one i bought hooks to the mobo header.

unfortunately, it doesn't add a usb port (which
i think would be ideal).

good deal, anyway, despite the ghetto hookup.

I love it. Some folks have had BioStar mainboards from Fry's on special combo deals, but I haven't (...shrugs...). On NewEgg, if you click on <Product Link>, first of all it's like impossible to even find anything there. And if you happen to click on the one "Product Line" link showing, "Motherboards", you see that the header graphic reads *MOHTERBOARDS*. Finally, the "Knowledge Base" says *Coming Soon!*. (...giggles....)

....but I am ordering 2 of the cards (...sighs...).

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Here's hoping no weird charges show up because of that pen deal. :D
