I'm discussing a few things with people online, and they have this idea it would be really cool to have an internal cable modem. Somehow I don't believe its a good idea, because if it was, it would be on the market right now.
They suggest the digital line that comesf rom the wall, could just plug into a PCI card into your computer, and you'd recieve your bandwidth that way. As far as networing other computers, they believe there could be NICs built into the same PCI card as well, and you could even use the same card as a router.
Sounds good. But I think theres some reason this hasn't been made yet. Because theres some limitation somewhere on the PCI bus or something.
Someone enlighten me if this is possible at all?
Thanks
Jonathan
